Academic Services

The research department primarily works internally on its own projects. However, it also conducts external studies, albeit to a limited extent. These usually involve serious problem cases, where the study provides significant added value.

Foundations

This division primarily uses its own patented “Remo-Radier” foundation system for single-family homes and apartment buildings up to 3 or 4 stories high. The turnkey contract includes the design and installation of all drainage systems, connection to the municipal sewer system, service lines, grounding loops, utility line penetrations, rainwater cisterns and/or septic tanks, concrete and reinforcement work—in short, everything ready for bricklaying. The building owner or client receives three copies of the as-built plan. In short, this means you do not need to hire an external engineering firm for the foundation.
The scope of work includes the complete structural analysis, construction of the entire concrete slab—whether or not polished—including reinforced footings for the placement of columns.
If necessary, “in situ” soil improvement is applied using lime-cement stabilization.

Parking garages, basements, and retaining structures

The scope of this project includes the stability study, the basement floor slab, and the basement walls, including the necessary shoring on the street side or along shared walls.
Upon request, we can extend the work up to ground level, which would include the basement ceiling and the load-bearing walls of the basement or parking garage.
